Australians have a slang word for the afternoon - ARVO. I've chosen that for my company brand because, in the photography world, the "arvo" is the perfect time of day for creating stunning, live photographic media. It is the best word I know to capture my own creative vision, namely - to always strive for designing and delivering that perfect audio/visual moment - whatever the media - that will help my clients to achieve their goals."

The ARVO approach to video, interestingly, is not unlike the philosophy that drives much of what happens with architecture in many Old World Cities - like Paris where - rather than tearing down everything in sight in order to build - they will often find ways to work with existing structures to expand and enhance and reimagine something old into something new. That's what we want to do at ARVO take the raw material of your life, the still pictures of your hopes and dreams and weave them into a tapestry of moving living color and sound that tells a story. Your story.
At ARVO we believe everyone has a story and is a story. We want to help you tell that story better.

one of the first photos I ever took, I didn’t want to have to paint something in art class so I begged the teacher if I could take a picture. “photos are art too” I exclaimed
Steve Lindsay was born in 1987 and spent his early years growing up in Melbourne, Australia - which left an indelible mark on him. Years later, after making his way to the United States, and during his second year in university, he started photographing for the Southeastern University Magazine. And really fell in love with creating and capturing moments for longer than just a moment.
